I have BS and MBA Degrees in Business Administration and an MA Degree in History. While working in northern Virginia I became interested in US History, especially the Civil War, and I went back to school and received my history degree. My writing experience includes reports to upper management while working in the headquarters office of a major oil company, and writing numerous papers on US historical subjects while working toward my master's in history.
My business experience includes analyzing marketing and supply costs, accumulating departmental budgets preparatory to presenting the overall budget to upper management, and calculating return on investment (ROI) for potential major investments to determine if they would meet the company's minimum required return.
I enjoyed historical research, gathering facts about a subject, and writing a report in a comprehensive but succinct manor.
